A brand new dual-screen smartphone has been announced by Yota Devices.
The YotaPhone 2, which sports two displays, has been officially announced. The primary display is a 5-inch AMOLED panel with full-HD resolution and at the back you will find an always-on 4.7-inch e-paper display. The e-paper display, just like the e-ink display on Amazon's Kindle readers, shows notifications, clock, weather, etc and the front display can be used for regular use.
The smartphone features a Snapdragon 800 chipset with 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, an 8MP camera, and a 2,500mAH battery. The smartphone will run on Android 4.4 KitKat with no word a Lollipop update.
The YotaPhone 2 will arrive in India some time in the future as the official website lists India as one of the countries where the handset will ship. You can also register on the website to get a notification when the product is in stock. The first-gen YotaPhone was announced under a partnership with online e-commerce portal Flipkart back in October. Specs Source: YotaPhone
