LG phone app lets users control their smartphones via a Windows PC

LG has introduced a new app called VPInput which allows users to control their LG G4, G5 and V10 smartphones using Windows PC’s mouse and keyboard. However, this requires the VPInput app on the phone and LG VPInput PC Program for Windows or Mac and uses Bluetooth to connect both respectively. Users can download it from the Google Play Store.

The company explains, “The VPInput app gives LG smartphone users control of their devices using their PC’s mouse and keyboard, a convenient solution when you’re at your desk but want to check your phone without interrupting your workflow.”
In terms of features, you can remotely control your Android smartphone with the mouse on the PC. You can remotely input text on an Android smartphone with the keyboard on the PC too. Additionally, you can share the Clipboard text between your Android smartphone and your PC (ex. CTRL+C, CTRL+V). Also, send an immediately captured screen image of your Android smartphone when required. You can designate a shortcut of your Android smartphone application on your PC as well. (ex. Press F1, execute Call application).
