Gujarat police are roaming the streets on customised Harleys

Harley Davidson. The pride of the motorcycling world, the gruff king of bikes. Growling, snarling, spewing smoke, it rode into the hearts of millions and has been there for over a century. And it seems that the Gujarat Police are its newest fans.

The  Gujarat Police Department has received six customised Street 750s from Harley-Davidson, according to a report by AutoX. 
The Gujarat police department are the first in India to have specialised high-capacity motorcycles and will deploy these coveted machines for exceptional responsiveness and tactical maneuverability.
“We are proud to add these Harley-Davidson Street 750 motorcycles to the Gujarat Police arsenal. The Street 750 not only addresses the police department’s need of a performance motorcycle in challenging situations but also provides great confidence and maneuverability in urban conditions,” the report quoted Pranav Nanda, Dealer Principal, Nine Bridges Harley-Davidson, as saying.
According to an Overdrive report, Nine bridges Harley-Davidson  delivered these six customised Street 750 motorcycles to the Gujarat Police. The motorcycles have been built to suit the requirements of the police department in the state. Customisations to the stock Street 750 include a beacon, siren, panniers and a custom paint job.
