MICROMAX CANVAS FIRE 2 REVIEW


Micromax has launched a new canvas phone under 7k. It’s a quad core device under budget phones. It seems like this company is ready to to be the king of the indian mobile market. This handset runs on the latest android version KITKAT. They are launching too many budget kitkat  phones in this year. Before it was the unite 2 to compete with the MOTO E now this phone is a competitor of recently launched REDMI 1S. Lets come to the review.

Design

The dimension of the phone is 136×67.4×9.55 mm. It’s a quite slim phone. MMX (micromax) managed to give 4.5inch FWVGA resolution screen. The screen sports 16M color with 218PPI.

Hardware

This device powered by MediaTek MT6582M quad core chipset clocked at 1.3 GHz coupled with 1 GB Ram. This handset runs on 1900 mAh battery.

Memory

On board device of the handset (ROM) is 4GB. This handset runs under 1Gb ram. Memory card support up to 32 GB.


Camera

This device sports 5MP AF rear camera and VGA camera for selfie. It can shoot 1080p video.


Pros

1.       Low budget Kitkat.
2.       1.3 Ghz quadcore.
3.       1GB ram.
4.       Can record 1080p video.

Cons

1.       Resolution can be better.
2.       Screen is not IPS.
3.       Battery should be better.
4.       Camera resolution should be better.
5.       Screen PPI would have been better.

The ANTUTU Benchmark is 17740, NENAMARK is 55.3 fps. Multi touch is 3 point. It’s a good phone to play HD games and apps.
