Micromax Unite 2 review a budget phone

Budget kitkat (Android 4.4) os phones are suddenly available in market. First off all it was Moto E and now its Micromax turn to join the Kitkat club. The chipset used in MMX (micromax) Unite 2 is MediaTek MT6582 clocked at 1.3Ghz quad core processor with MALI 400 MP GPU. This handset sports 4.7 inch display with FWVGA (480×854) resolution. This handset is a good competitor with Moto E and Lava iris X1. This handset is running with 1GB RAM with 4 GB internal storage. The battery of the device is 200mAh. MMX Unite 2 has Dual slim slot Sim 1 is Normal sim and Sim 2 is Micro sim. Out of 4GB 0.89 GB is allocated for apps. The good part is that you can install apps on the SD card. OTG is supported in this handset. The performance of the set is lag free and good for gaming. This handset is coupled with 5MP autofocus rear camera and 2MP fixed focus front camera. The rear camera can shoot 1080p FHD video with 30fps.
Design and Build:-
The Unite 2 features a manageable screen size of 4.7-inches. The resolution isn’t much at 800 x 480. It’s an IPS screen so the viewing angle is good. 
Connectivity :-
This handset supports 4.0 Bluetooth version, Wi-Fi, and 3G network. It supports Wi-Fi hotspot, USB tethering and most probably Bluetooth tethering. It supports OTG (usb on the go).
Camera:-
5MP autofocus rear camera mange to shoot 1080p video. Front camera is 2MP.

1.Resolution should be HD resolution

ANTUTU benchmark of the device is 16683 nearly 17k, NENA MARK  is 63.4 fps. It’s a good device for gaming and watching full FHD videos. You can enjoy the HD games without any lag.


It’s Tough competitor of Moto E and Lava Iris X1.
