Micromax today has launched another smartphone under the Canvas series - Canvas Xpress. It will be exclusively available on Flipkart for Rs 6,999.

Micromax Canvas Xpress Power has a 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS Screen display (854X480 pixels) and is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad core processor. It runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system and it not clear whether it will be upgradeable to Android Lollipop.
It has 5 megapixel rear camera with auto focus functionality and 0.3 megapixel front camera. It has 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal memory and 32 GB expandable memory via micro SD card. It is powered by a 1950 mAh battery and on connectivity front supports 3G, Wifi, and Bluetooth.
Micromax has even tied up with Aircel to offer 500 MB data per month for the first 6 months on Canvas Xpress.
Micromax Canvas Xpress comes preloaded with HotKnot and Smart Wake feature. Using HotKnot one cab one can transfer data, like images, videos and contacts, with a screen to screen connect with another device which has Hotknot app. It is essentially a Bluetooth transfer made easy using an app. While, Smart Wake one can unlock the device using gestures.
