Samsung Galaxy Note 4

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is finally here in India at a whopping price tag and a lot more creative features.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4

The device was first announced in early September at the IFA event in Berlin and has now hit the Indian shores at Rs 58,300. This seems to be a strategic announcement as Samsung revealed the device in India a few days before Apple could unravel its iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. The all new Galaxy Note 4 picks design cue from its predecessor, the Galaxy Note 3 and the newly launched, Samsung Galaxy Alpha. Note 4 has the same faux leather back like Note 3 and metal edges like its Galaxy Alpha. However, there are multiple tweaks and changes that Samsung has incorporated on its latest phablet to make it stand out of the crowd. It has a better design and an improved form factor. This latest flagship device by the Korean giant sports the same display size as it did in the previous Note phablet but with a better resolution size.

The Galaxy Note 3 that was launched last year flaunted a 5.7-inch display with resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels while the Note 4 sports the same size display with resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels.
The display of Galaxy Note 4 looks nothing less than spectacular. The firm knows well on how to attract its customers to their devices and leave them completely famished by their offering. Samsung has combined the QHD technology with Super AMOLED and the result is what we see on the Note 4, a bright crisp display that brings out the best of whatever content you see on the screen. For camera enthusiasts, the device is well equipped with a 16-megapixel rear facing camera featuring a Smart Optical Image Stabilizer. This helps when the camera is shaky or when you need extra exposure time with a particular shot; the camera acts smart and fixes it up for you. We tested it ourselves for a while and saw the images appeared really good with Note 4's 16-megapixel camera. The pictures appeared bright, colourful and sharp. For selfie lovers, the Note 4 features a 3.7-megapixel front camera. It gives out good results and comes equipped with some added features, like it can cover angles up to 120 degrees which means more people can accommodate in your selfie shot. Also, for users' convenient, Samsung has incorporated another interesting feature where a person can tap on the heart rate monitor on the rear to click a selfie. However, a detailed walk through the device and its features will be given in our review. And now, how can we miss the famous S Pen, which is also touted as the key to the smartphone by Samsung. It holds a lot more than you can think of. The Galaxy S Pen is not just a stylus but also a companion to its Note series of phablets. Samsung has walked a way ahead by creating S Pen specific apps and features that can only be worked around with it.
The S Pen offers both fountain pen and calligraphy pen experience along with the Air Command function where a menu pops up for faster and easier access to features. We will bring you much more details and show you what all the S Pen can do on this new Note 4, in our detailed review. In whatever little time we got with the device, it performed pretty well.
It comes integrated with a 2.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor and 3GB of RAM. Galaxy Note 4 is expected to ooze power and great performance with such powerful innards but we can only bring you all details once we get to test the device at full length. We expect the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 to come out with flying colours, all because of its stunning looks and power packed features. What adds on is the improved stylus integration which means that a lot more can be done using the S Pen that comes along. But we cannot promise anything till we spend some good time with the device.
