Intel's Compute Stick can transform a TV into a Windows 8.1 computer

Intel has unveiled a new dongle that can transform an HDMI display into a full-fledged computer. The Intel Compute Stick is ready to go out-of-the-box and comes pre-installed with Windows 8.1 or Linux.
This 4-inch long device packs a quad-core Intel Atom processor, with built-in wireless connectivity, on-board storage, and a microSD card slot for additional storage. The Intel Compute Stick will be launched later this year.
The Windows 8.1 version of the Intel Compute Stick has 32GB of storage and 2GB of RAM. It's priced at $149. A Linux version of the Compute Stick will be available for $89. It will come with 8GB of storage and 1GB of RAM.
