Microsoft Lumia 735 With 4G LTE Expected to Launch in India

Microsoft's Lumia 735, introduced alongside the Lumia 730 Dual SIM last year at IFA, is expected to be launched by the Redmond giant in India on Thursday. The Lumia 730 Dual SIM, identical to the Lumia 735 except for the inclusion of an extra SIM card slot and its lack of 4G LTE connectivity, was launched at Rs. 15,299 in October.

The Microsoft Lumia India Twitter handle on Wednesday posted a teaser for the launch, with an image of what appears to be the Nokia-branded Lumia 735 Dual SIM or Lumia 735 in its Orange colour-variant, along with the caption "#WideLies #ComingSoon #22Jan".
The Nokia Lumia 735 and the Nokia Lumia 730 Dual SIM were launched as the company's first selfie-focused smartphones, featuring a wide-angle 5-megapixel front camera with a 24mm wide angle lens. The Lumia 735 is expected to be launched in India via the company's recently-opened Microsoft store on Amazon, which already features a number of Lumia smartphones and Nokia feature phones - including the Lumia 730 Dual SIM that's now priced at Rs. 14,849.
The single-SIM Lumia 735 also sports a 6.7-megapixel rear camera with LED flash. Running Windows Phone 8.1 out-of-the-box, it features a 4.7-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) display with a pixel density of 316ppi and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection; a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM; 8GB of built-in storage that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 128GB); 15GB of free OneDrive cloud storage, and a 2220mAh battery rated to deliver up to for 22 hours of 2G talk time and 17 hours of 3G talk time.
